Sarah Thorneycroft

Sarah has lived and worked in Cornwall since 1990, and can’t imagine living anywhere else. Apart from painting, her other hobbies include gardening, walking, reading and travel. Sarah has been painting for more than 20 years, and in this time has completed an A Level in Art, and would love to study the subject in more depth at some point. Style Sarah specialises in oil landscapes and seascapes, ‘painted’ with a palette knife. Sarah loves using vibrant colours in her art and this is reflected in her work today. Inspirations Her favourite local artists are John Piper and Kurt Jackson and her palette is reminiscent of the Scottish Colourists whose work she loves.
