Although I have always loved and appreciated art, making time to experiment with painting and drawing was difficult when I was working. I moved down to Cornwall in my late 40's and spent two years at college studying Art and Design which enabled me to try paining in all different mediums also adding textiles to my work. For two years I was busy drawing and painting pictures for two children's books which have been published and this enabled me to use my imagination, drawing fun pictures using lots of lively bright colours, which always make me feel happy, I still tend to use many of these colours in my work today. My favourite medium is oil but I also paint using Gouache and watercolour adding other materials to some of my work.
